November 4th is approaching, and as usual the politicians are distorting what their rivals say. It’s as entertaining as the last Presidential election, except… ok… maybe it wasn’t…
Kerry let the Democratic Party down, and we were stuck with Junior. Along came rising gas prices, oil “shortages”, wars, and a complete economic crisis. No doubt the conservative voters are cheering every single time they see a McCain campaign advertisement distorting Obama’s agendas. And yet, at the same time, one can’t help but wonder if the Democratic party is distorting McCain’s agenda. After watching the following videos however, I’m starting to believe the Democratic party doesn’t need to distort anything. Here’s proof:
And this one:
Aaaaaand this one:
This one:
And last but not least, this one:
What is McCain really trying to say? Have our Republican friends become so dumbed-down that they can’t realize what McCain stands for? Are we too blind to see that Sarah Palin is nothing more than a hockey mom? I mean she’s completely against the use of contraceptives because she’s pro-life (…whatever…), and yet there’s nothing wrong with her 17-year old daughter being pregnant?!? I don’t mean to come down on her daughter like that. It’s really not about her daughter, and I honestly don’t believe Palin’s daughter should be dragged into the fray, but seriously… come on. Palin knows nothing about foreign policy or diplomacy, and McCain picked her as a running mate, even though he criticized Obama for the exact same thing. Palin is eye candy. That’s it. She’s a hockey mom from a small town somewhere in Alaska.
And while FOX News anchors are cracking jokes about Isis, the transgender woman on America’s Next Top Model, they’re too busy to realize Sarah Palin is nothing more than America’s Next Top Humilating Affront To Women. As if it’s not bad enough that McCain is a misogynist creep, he has to go and choose the person with the least experience simply because she’s a woman. McCain pulled the gender card on this one, and it was a bold attempt to try to draw some of Hillary’s minions over to the dark side. All of a sudden, there’s another woman in the White House race, so a handful of Clinton supporters decided to jump ship. One last thing to mention about Palin: McCain is in his 70’s. He’s likely to be in office for a few months before he croaks. With Palin as his VP, guess who’s going to be running the country?
I know that’s morbid to think about, but you know it’s true. You know I’m right. Palin was the governor of Alaska, which has a bigger population of seals than it does human beings. Even polar bears outnumber the people in Alaska. Does anyone else view this as I do? It’s like a 3-year old playing with matches.
And about FOX News…
Anchor Gregg Jarrett and special guest, editor at large of US Weekly, Ian Drew joked about Isis, the transgender contestant on America’s Next Top Model, calling it a “trend” to place a token transgender person in a reality television show. They laughed as they bantered on about Isis, calling her “him or her”. Jarrett even quotes Isis, “‘My cards were dealt differently”, to which he muses, “Boy, that’s an understatement”. Luckily, GLAAD stepped in, along with countless members of the GLBTQ community, and flooded FOX News with complaints.
In a wise move by FOX News, Anchor Gregg Jarrett apologized on the air a few days later.
McCain, say what you mean, and mean what you say.
Gregg Jarrett and Ian Drew, if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything.
As usual,
Love and Peace,
Chloë Elise

“Keating Five” McCain is incresibly corrupt, yet the corporate media call him a “reformer.” His senile dementia also is ignored.
I agree with you 100%, Chloe. The pick of Palin was, in a way, a great choice because it has distracted a LOT of people from the actual issues in this race. On the face of THEM, McCain will lose…when (not if) the debates start and we see all four of them face each other.
Obama is sturdily trying to take back the message with Real Issues. He has a big task…I do know that his supporters are telling him over & over to get more aggressive. And Bill & Hill will be out campaigning for him.
I really do pray that the media gets over this FunFest and starts doing their job better. McCain/Palin can NOT win.
VOTE & Get other people to vote – or register SOON.
Who first used the phrase ‘mean what you say and say what you mean’ ?
bluehearttv: You are correct about the distracting nature of the Palin VP pick.
I can’t really say how McCain is appearing to the public right now – I DO know that even some republicans are getting mad at his flip-flopping and, uh…lying every time he opens his mouth. This disastrous week, he said many conflicting things about his take on the economy – and has ended all of them by blaming Obama! I think Palin may be failin’ – falling out of favor of serious Repubs. Nobody comes to see McCain, they only come when they are together – which is ALL the time now.
I am really waiting to watch the first debate (Mc -v- Ob) next Friday the 26th.
(I think “mean what you say….” has been used for so, so long that it would be hard to really discover the first usage.)
Hi,
I gave Some Notes on Living a Brillante Weblog Award.
I have to disagree about Bristol being afforded any spae. Sarahpoleon trots her family out as stage props to promote her “values,” so if those stage props don’t live up to the myth, Sarahpoleon has only herself to blame for any attention Bristol gets.
Thankfully, the luster on Sarahpoleon is coming off real fast, as we learn more and more about what a shitty executive she is.
Hey, Chloe Elise and friends,
I came over through a recommendation at Libhomo’s blog, where he gave your blog a Brilliante award. I’m really glad to know about you.
Take care,
Pagan
Welcome Pagan Sphinx and JollyR. darn good to see ya dude -

Shocked as per Friedman economics the Shock Doctrine is happening now..We were wrting about this what well over a yr ago eh…it sucks ass not to be able to stop this shit. i called , i wrote. These oligarchs are gonna do what they are gonna do And Paulson is the one who created the crisis to begin with – its surreal beyond belief -
i say let the fucker crash and burn , from the ashes we will rise..OH and Bloomberg in NYC is already talking about cutting essential services ! – fuck this noise.our government needs to be punished – and the perpetrators prosecuted in a court of law.
end rant here…..hi you all !
an ugly ass lezbo and an even uglier tranny – what the FUCK do you two know about anything? FUCK OBAMA!
Aww… how nice! A new visitor!
Well, since you asked what we knew about anything, I’ll tell you what I personally know – being that I’m the “even uglier tranny” you referred to.
I DO know that replying to a political blog under the name “sarah palin”, instead of “anonymous” in which you use profanity doesn’t exactly do anything to make Sarah Palin look any better. In fact, it makes the Republican VP candidate look worse. If you were trying to prove a point, you failed miserably.
I DO know that while you have your own personal opinion that I’m an “ugly tranny”, there are three problems with your opinion:
1) Men must really be attracted to ugly women over pretty women, otherwise I wouldn’t get asked on a date every week by a different man, and I never would have been asked to model for a local photographer. I guess it’s an “in” thing to be ugly.
2) It’s your opinion that I’m ugly, and instead of replying to this blog in a somewhat intellectual manner, using logic and reason to tell me I “don’t know anything” about McCain’s two-faced, contradictory behavior, you decided to use curse words, which only makes you look even less intelligent.
3) The word “tranny” is offensive to some transexuals, such as myself. It’s the same as calling someone a racial slur.
I DO know that when trying to prove a point to someone else, it is not necessary to use curse words (especially when the words are typed in all CAPS) to prove a point. When you use pointless profanity and offensive words to speak with other people, it doesn’t make the message you convey any more intelligent. It actually makes you look like an unintelligent, uneducated bigot.
I DO know that becoming the governor of Alaska (which is close in proximity to Russia) does NOT instantly qualify you to know anything about diplomacy, or foreign policy.
I DO know that the REAL Sarah Palin is not experienced enough to become our nation’s next Vice President.
And I DO know your IP address.
Thanks for stopping by!
Sincerely,
The Even Uglier Tranny
P.S.: Not only do I know your IP address, I know your phone number as well!
Another lovely trait of our sarah palin she is a bigot..
said in church lady voice :
“isn’t that special”
– she dislikes Obama i think even more than the Gender Variant – would it be too harsh of me , to call her an ignorant slut ? – opps did i say that out loud.
